Sony’s Creator to Creator: A Dialogue with Nicolas Doucet and Brian Fleming
Have you ever had the honor of surprising someone you genuinely love? I just had the honor of congratulating Nicolas Doucet with a bread and a cake. celebrating his and Team Asobi’s well-deserved Game of the Year accolade at the Astro Bot Game Awards! Both of us have experience hosting talk shows, and when he was envious of me, he was anxiously recording his own introduction for this passage in Sony’s Creator to Creator series.
But while that was a truly enjoyable part, it also kind of broke the ice and allowed us to really just like talking to one another about our own gaming-related experience. Describe the rules we employ in our work’s style and tone. Despite the fact that our team at Team Asobi and Sucker Punch Productions produce activities that appear to be very similar on the surface, we were able to discover how many of our values are shared and how much each of our teams is similar.
Nico offers a lot of intelligent insights about how Team Asobi creates their games, how they balance innovation with problems, and even how they incorporate some of our Sucker Punch figures into their activities.
Finally he turned the tables on me, and we exchanged details about how apprehensive we both were developing our primary sports for Sony, what we had learned from the creation of Ghost of Tsushima, and what particular moments of the game stood out to me.
