Niantic, the developers of Pokemon Go has responded on the rumors about Pokemon Go being released to SEA including the PH. They stated that there were no such announcements for the official date of the release.
“The team is currently heads down working on the game. We do not have nay announced plans for countries beyond New Zealand, Australia, US and Germany at the moment.”
Rumors were going around the internet saying that the game is set to be officially available to players in the SEA region starting this Friday because the App Stores are going to be refreshed last Thursday.
We are also sad about this official announcement but we do hope that we put an end to these rumors as it will only give everyone false hopes that they will get to play the most popular game of this year.
