The Logitech G502 Lightspeed cuts the cord for a wireless gaming experience | News and Reviews

The original Logitech G502 was one of the brand’s best-selling gaming mouse back when it was released back in 2014. In 2019, the company is breathing new life to the mouse by giving it wireless capabilities.

The Logitech G502 Lightspeed keeps the design of the original mouse while updating it to their Lightspeed wireless standard. It comes with the same HERO sensor with a DPI range of 200 – 16,000 with zero acceleration with a max acceleration of 40G and a maximum speed of 400IPS.

Logitech is promising a 1000Hz (1ms) report rate even over wireless connections. The mouse has weighs around 114g and comes with optional extra weights of up to 16g.

There are 11 programmable buttons on the Logitech G502 Lightspeed, which can be edited via the Logitech Gaming Software. Of course, it comes with its own RGB lighting system.

The battery can last up to 60 hours without RGB lights and up to 48 hours with the lights turned on. It is compatible with the brand’s Powerplay gaming mouse pad that can charge the mouse wirelessly.
