Nissan is on a role to revamp their whole lineup, 1st to get their Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM) technology in the Philippines is the new X-Trail. Having advanced sensors in the front, sides, and back gives the new X-Trail smart technology for today’s driving standard. Not to even mention a more aggressive look and variants of both 4×2 or 4×4.

The new version of the popular crossover overall looks more upbeat with features that are both for safety and style. The 4×4 variant goes with projector LED headlights, Daytime Running Lights, 19″ alloy wheels, full 360 camera system and a panoramic sunroof to see everything with wonder.

One aesthetic addition is the more prominent V-Motion grille which Nissan is famous for. The front bumper also

Interior wise, the X-Trail looks modern with leather and plastic combination of materials. Some plastic covers, especially in the door handles, are covered in carbon-fiber like print to give a more appealing look.

But the most interesting point is Nissan’s own technology which is NIM to have the confidence of safety. It has anti-collision, blind spot warning, intelligent emergency breaking and even rear cross alert for those clumsy reverse parking moments.

One thing that wasn’t cleared out here if the X-trail has adaptive cruise control and other techs like adaptive headlight system for night-time driving.

The center console is equipped with at weird size of 5″ to 6″ based on our observations. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a unit available for open-demo of the 360 cameras. but supposedly you can see a 360 view of around the car with cameras on the back and both sides.

Available in Premium Corona Orange, Marine Blue, Pearl White, Gun Metallic, and Diamond Black, the new X-TRAIL also has a fresh interior and exterior styling for a sleeker yet robust presence.

The Nissan X-Trail is available in both 4×4 (2.5L) and 4×2 (2.0L) variants and will be priced at Php 1,728,000 and Php 1,399,000 respectively. More or less that’s around 24k to 28k in monthly payment for a 5-year loan with a bank (Based on our experience).

If there is one thing that may stop you is that there isn’t any diesel variant and only gas. If we compare it to the nearest competitor, the X-Trail goes head to head against the Honda CRV 2017 Diesel or even the Mazda CX-5 though its smaller in size.

The new X-trial will be available this September 2017, for more information you can proceed to their product page for more details.
