The post DoTA 2 season have ended and the first Major is on its way, The Boston Major.
After a successful The International 6, and countless roster changes in the post season, professional DoTA 2 teams have locked in their tournament rosters to compete in another year-long road towards The International tournament. The Boston Major, presented by PGL, will be one of the first Major tournaments and this event will take place on December 7-10, 2016 at Wang Theatre in Boston, USA.
Sixteen teams is set to compete around a single elimination playoff bracket in best-of-three matches. With the Grand Finals being a best-of-five series to determine the winner of the USD 3,000,000 prize pool. Placements for the main event bracket will be determined by the results of the Group Stage qualifying stage on December 3 and 4.
With the recent success of Filipino backed teams- could we see TNC, Mineski, Rave or Execration playing on The Boston Major?
