If you’re closely monitoring Samsung, you have probably heard about the Galaxy View. It already passed the FCC and the company has already teased it live at IFA. Now, news site SamMobile has leaked images of the oversized 18.4-inch tablet, but, there’s this one question that’s going through our mind: WHAT THE HELL IS THAT KICKSTAND?!
These images appear to be screengrabbed from their promotional video for the device itself, and it looks like they are positioning the device as a portable TV (what?). Although the kickstand makes sense since it has the body and design similar to the Microsoft Surface. But still, what’s up with that design that looks like a banana?
The View’s kickstand seems to have a peel off feeling from the back of the device like a banana and it doesn’t look like it’s really flexible. We are not yet sure whether the kickstand can be removed which we are hoping it will be.
Samsung has already stated that the Galaxy View should come this October or early November, so we’ll see soon enough.
