It’s official! Total War: Warhammer is in-line for release as the next main title in the Total War series. Watch the trailer below. Spoiler: It includes monsters of epic proportions and magic!
The Total War series has always been that of swords and shields, basing its world in humanity’s war torn history. This game makes them change for the better, or for the worse, as they are looking into the addition of mythical creatures, delving into fantasy. If we refer to the trailer, Creative Assembly will more than likely introduce flying and gigantic creatures, not to mention having magic part of the play.
The campaign map might also experience a drastic change. The number of races and humanoid characters involved in the world can affect undoubtedly affect how players interact with inter-specie matters.
I do admit that I know nil when it comes to the world and lore of Warhammer. That might change once I play this game. I just hope that CA won’t blow this one like Rome 2: Total War.
No details as of yet with the release date of the game. Although Creative Assembly promises more trailers or gameplay reveals in the next coming weeks.
