Unintentionally, the Philips Hue Secure door leaks from an iOS app

Following a hole in the agency’s own iphone app, Signify is reportedly on the verge of releasing its own Philips Hue picture bell.

Signify’s Philips Hue set includes a number of wise household devices, with lights and security cameras being the most popular items on the list. Although there isn’t already a video doorbell in the company’s imaging collection, that could change.

The Hue app for iOS was updated in March to incorporate a QR code-based device registration opportunity and an option to add components without the QR code, as revealed by HueBlog. This last choice confirmed the existence of the system.
