Apple filed a$ 23 million lawsuit against recycling company Geep Canada five years ago, but there is no justification for how the alleged robbery of 100, 000 iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches was settled.

Although the complaint wasn’t made public until October 2020, Apple sued Geep Canada in January of that year. Apple began recycling Apple products in 2014, but during an assessment in 2017, the company claimed to have found that Geep had failed to kill nearly 100, 000 of those products.

The revelation reportedly occurred after Apple’s auditors went to Geep’s service and discovered that Apple Watches were being stored in a location without security cameras.
