There are numerous reports from the new iPhone 16e owners that claim Mobile sound keeps slipping out, but it appears there is a fix in order.

Unfamiliar number of phone 16e users regularly experience audio connection issues with Bluetooth speakers and headphones in what appears to be a duplicate of the issues with the iPhone XS from 2018. It seems to be much more common than the phone XS issue, and it might be related to having several Bluetooth components connected simultaneously.
Some phone 16e users are having Mobile music issues, with music stuttering or fading when streaming to a Bluetooth loudspeaker.
