Vivo is set to launch their entry level selfie phone in the market, the Vivo V5 Lite will be one of the most affordable phones of the company. This will go directly to other phones like the ASUS ZenFone 3 Max, OPPO A39 or the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime.
Vivo V5 Lite Specifications
- 5.5″ HD 1280×720 Display
- Octa-Core (Not Specified)
- 3GB RAM
- 32GB Storage
- 13 Megapixel f/2.2 rear camera
- 16 Megapixel f/2.0 front camera
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS
- No Fingerprint Sensor
- Android Marshmallow 6.0
- 3000mAh battery
- 153.8×75.5×7.6mm
- 155g
The specifications are really close to the current Vivo V5 but with less on the RAM, decreased to 16MP front camera and no fingerprint sensor. Interestingly that we see is that this is already Android Marshmallow 6.0 as compared to its competitors still at lollipop.
Also, with no fingerprint sensor, the V5 Lite seems a bit weird for its pricing. It’s an essential feature which everyone seeks for 10k+ smartphone, we think this is a major mistake for Vivo V5
When launched the Vivo V5 lineup will be covering the entry level 10k price point with the line, mid at 13k for the V5 and high-end for the V5 Plus at 20k. Most probably this will arrive in the PH market by March 2017.
