After being launched in Mumbai, India back in September 7, the latest and greatest smartphone in Vivo’s range has finally landed in Manila. The Vivo V7+ comes with a 5.99-inch FullView display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450, 24MP front camera, and a 16MP rear camera.
The most eye-catching aspect of the V7+ is its screen. The 5.99-inch FullView display is a bezelless screen that delivers 84.4% screen to body ratio. Its 18:9 aspect ratio is nothing to scoff at as well. No more black bars whenever you’re watching movies. The only disappointing aspect of the screen, however, is its resolution. At 5.99-inch, it only comes with resolution of 1440 x 720.
Inside the unibody shell is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz complemented by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. You can also expand the storage via the microSD slot up to 256GB.
At the rear is a 16MP shoot with LED Flash and PDAF. It is able to shoot with a built-in UltraHD mode that takes 4 separate photos and stitches it together to create a 64MP image. The phone is also flanked by a fingerprint sensor for better security.
The Vivo V7+’s bread and butter is its front camera complemented by a front facing flash dubbed “Moonlight Glow.” The 24MP shooter promises clearer selfies with its Face Beauty 7.0 to brighten up and offer better complexion in your selfies. It can also take portrait mode that applies depth of field in your selfies. The front camera is also able to take panoramic selfies so you can fit more objects or even friends in a single selfie.
Vivo has added FaceID access to the Vivo V7+, something akin to the iPhone X. Simply lift the smartphone in front of you and it will automatically unlock itself. Added functionality such as Split Screen 3.0 has been added for better multi-tasking. All you have to do is swipe three fingers on the display and it will automatically split itself between apps.
The Vivo V7+ is powered by a 3225mAh battery and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with Vivo’s latest FunTouch OS 3.2. Here are the full specs of the Vivo V7+:

Priced at PhP 17,990, the Vivo V7+ is now available for pre-order through Lazada until September 29. The units will be shipped on September 30 with retail units in Vivo kiosks, concepts stores, and retailers following suit. It will also be available through Globe and Smart post-paid plans.
