Why is Jollibee wearing a barong? – Hungry Geeks

Jollibee wearing a barong? you don’t see that everyday right? Something must be up, well definitely. With independence day approaching fast, Jollibee just launched their new limited edition Adobo Flakes Yum Burger and Halo-Halo Sundae to celebrate the occasion.

Made for the Filipino taste, traditional food such as the adobo and halo-halo are infused to the favorite Yum! burger and Sundae.

We already tried the Adobo Flakes Yum Burger and we were not disappointed, a true nostalgic moment of Filipino Adobo flakes will welcome you paired with our favorite Yum Burger.

As for the Halo-Halo Sundae, we have yet to try it out. According to our friends who already tried, you’ll like the fuse of vanilla ice cream paired with the ube syrup. Quote “It’s like halo-halo but you’ll just get used to the ice cream instead of the usual ice and milk.”

You can try out the Adobo Flakes Yum! Burger for as low as Php59, while the Halo-Halo Sundae is for Php35. Additionally to further celebrate Independence day one June 12, Jollibee will also introduce a limited edition Bucket design starting June 6, 2016.

Lastly, Jollibee will also have a free concert named as “Pinoy and proud!” this June 11, 2016 at the MetroTent convention center pasig. Tickets will be available via Jollibee Facebook
