Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 PGF Edition Revealed – Hungry Geeks

The craze for Nvidia’s new GeForce GTX 1080 continues to rise. With the promise of power priced at acceptable levels, enthusiasts and gamers await the arrival of the cards with bated breath. But some brands want to tease. Such was Zotac’s Sneak Peak of their variant of the card. A photo of the Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 PGF Edition (unrelated to a popular event) was posted in http://videocardz.com/ and it shows the card equipped with a glowing backplate. Yes, we’re still at the point where LEDs are things that make your rig popular. Anyhow, here’s the picture:

We still don’t know the metrics or the punch behind the Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 PGF Edition. It is apparent, however, that the card takes its form from the recent iteration of Zotac’s AMP! series of graphics cards. The price and the release date is still under wraps. What we do know is that it is, if the picture is the sole basis, one good-looking card.

In other news, Zotac also revamped their overclocking tool, Firestorm. It is also essential if the user wants to change the color of the card.

The announcements of the new graphics cards are very welcome indeed. As Computex 2016 approaches, we expect more teasers such as this one to arrive. We also can’t wait for AMD’s rumored counter punch.
