Blizzard announces new Overwatch hero: Ana – Hungry Geeks
What’s better than a regular healer? A long-ranged heal-snipes, of course. Blizzard just announced the next playable character in Overwatch, and truthful to the ongoing rumors, it’s a long-range healer dubbed as Ana.
Ana is Pharah’s mother and is a sniper support character, she has a Biotic rifle that both heals allies and deals “ongoing damage” to enemies. She’s also equipped with a sleep dart (renders the enemies to sleep), a biotic grenade that works just like her sniper rifle, and a nifty ability called Nano Boost that buffs her teammates giving them speed, attack, and defense.
There’s no release date for Ana yet, but we’re pretty much sure it’s close. Check out her videos:
