We decided to dig a little deeper for Lara’s upcoming enhanced experience because of Tomb Raider I–II I Remastered’s incredible answer. With Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, which launches on February 14th, we’re continuing to increase the quest for fans thanks to the unwavering support and joy from the Tomb Raider area. We’re introducing brand-new experiences and special equipment this time around. We’ll take a look at some of these exciting new features in this article to make sure you can interact with Lara’s world and make this enhanced series a labor of love for both the designers and the fans.
Photo Mode is again, and it’s better than ever! You’ll also have many poses to hit and weapons to clothing Lara Croft by building on the favorite features from the earlier trilogy. This series includes all of the first collection’s Photo Mode resources as well as numerous brand-new ones for players to uncover!
The Flyby Camera Maker is a lil ‘ introducing.
The Flyby Camera Maker, a tool that enables people to create their own active, visual pictures, is one of Tomb Raider IV–V I Remastered’s most fascinating changes. This feature enables you to trace a moving lens path through any scene, creating a world of imaginative possibilities.
This picture shows off the new Flyby Camera Maker in motion:
As you can see, this instrument is very simple to use.
Position up to 20 monitors wherever you like along a way.
Fine-tune your pictures by scrolling through your placed cameras positions and adjust different settings like, Roll, Field-of-View, Zoom, and motion velocity.
Hit the sing button—it’s that simple!
It doesn’t prevent there—Lara Fletcher herself you take center stage.
Using Photo Mode, you can place her within your custom picture, choosing her attitude, appearance, weapons, and clothing to fit the mood and style of the moment.
This tool isn’t just for cinematic enthusiasts—it’s for anyone who’s ever wanted to see the world of Tomb Raider through a filmmaker’s lens.
The number of Photo-Mode creations the community has shared online has amazed us, and this is our way of adding to that. Keep on sharing your creations with the community because we want to see what you make.
Ammo counter
Another exciting new feature that aims to improve overall gameplay! Now, you’ll have a sleek, on-screen display showing the remaining ammo you have for each weapon in your arsenal, ensuring you’re always ready for the next encounter. We sincerely hope the Ammo Counter will help you stay organized and sharp while managing resources in a contentious boss fight.
Cutscene skipper
We fully realize that this fan-base is very passionate about playing, and playing, and playing these games over and over again. Thus, we wanted to make it a little easier to get through the chit-chat and jump back into the action – totally up to the player’s choice though, of course! More power to you if you want to watch that cutscene again for the fifth time! Maybe you’ll unlock some kind of achievement for that…maybe not. Either way, we hope you enjoy having options!
New animations
Lara Croft’s adventures have always been defined by her agility, elegance, and grace, so in Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, we’ve introduced extra animations that we hope will breathe fresh life into your gameplay experience!
Slide To Run: Press forward at the end of a slope to continue running after you’ve reached the end of it. This is toggleable in the Options menu and works with both Tank and Modern control schemes. We restored the original games ‘ animations for the remaster, but this one was unused.
When you’re close to a ledge behind Lara, press the Action ( for tank ) or secondary ( for Modern ) button, and she’ll safely step down.
Hang on a ledge ( front ): While walking, press the Action ( for tank ) or secondary ( for Modern ) button close to a ledge in front of Lara and she will safely step down to it.
Turn around in place: While walking, press the Roll button while Lara is stopped to make her turn in place. This only applies to modern controls!
Fans of the original games will be delighted to learn that Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered will feature the original cheat codes. Whether it’s infinite ammo, skipping levels, or other nostalgic tricks, every cheat from the original releases will work just as you remember. And if your memory needs a little jog, don’t worry—Aspyr’s support site will have a full list of cheat codes available closer to launch. Time to add some flair to those legendary experiences.
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered is more than just a collection; it’s an invitation to rediscover the magic of Lara Croft’s formative adventures and share them with a new generation of players. It also has a rich legacy that spans decades.
