The demolition of the M4 MacBook Air reveals that it is just as simple to fix as its predecessor.

The most recent M4 MacBook Air from Apple is as recoverable as the M2 type, as a teardown of the case reveals no significant modifications.

On March 5, 2025, an M4 system-on-chip was unveiled for the fresh MacBook Air. The laptop is essentially equivalent to the M3 MacBook Air, but it has an upgraded 12MP back cameras with core stage support and is available in a fresh Sky Blue color option. The brand-new and improved MacBook Air is also offered in the same 13-inch and 15-inch size as its president.
The M4 MacBook Air uses the same vehicle as the M2 MacBook Air, which was released in 2022, as iFixit pointed out in a wreck of the M4. The laptop’s Bluetooth ports are now as interchangeable as they were before, resulting in the same complete assembly procedure.
